A friend of mine was trying to find my site, by entering "brisray" into Google they found a lot of the old hosts I used to use but have since abandoned. I realised that as the site was an ongoing project and people were seeing old pages I wrote a redirect page for all of them. Because it would be a long and tedious job rewriting each page to go to the same page on this site I merely redirected them to the sitemap, which itself needs changing to the new format. The hosts changed are 0Catch, 150m, BravePages, ExactPages and O-F.

The GBP sign (£) wasn't always displaying properly. This was because I used "£" in the code which wasn't being reproduced properly in all browsers, it usually came out as a "?". I used BK ReplaceEm to do this and changed the £ to £. I could have also replaced it with £ 36 files were altered, mostly in the Bristol section of the site. See Alan Wood's site for more information. On a Linux machine I could have used awk, gawk, sed, grep or perl to achieve much the same thing.
